My readers probably don’t know this, but I have been a huge Gordon Lightfoot fan my entire life. I have seen him in concert, wailed away with friends camping in Algonquin Park, and listened to him regularly. He passed away Monday night, May 1st, 2023 at age 84. Do me a favour and have a listen to his work. You’ll know his music, I promise. So many covers by so many artists. Such a history. I’m deeply saddened. My soul hurts.
