Somehow your author name was linked to mine. I contacted KDP immediately once I noticed (like ten minutes ago? 1638 EST) and they have informed me they (Hannah) have corrected the linkage error. They say it will take 2-3 business days to show up corrected.
Congratulations on your Halloween book. That is a huge accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself. I’m sorry your name is identical to my pen name and that your book was erroneously linked to my profile by Amazon. I am especially sorry that my genre is erotica and now your friends/family/readers will discover that horror if they follow your Amazon author link to my author page on KDP. Ugh. Terrible.
Best of luck and happy sales! Speaking of which, I checked my KDP, and your novel is NOT identified on my KDP page and so I assume Amazon will ensure any royalties for your novel are actually going to the right person.
